My approach to your wedding day photography is based on the philosophy that you don’t get to do this day over again. The people who have come from near and far to celebrate your union deserve to be encapsulated in photos, because you may never have everyone together like this again.
On my wedding day in 2011, I was a young and sweet 22-year-old, head over heels for my guy. My wedding photos take me back to what feels like a different lifetime—not only because of my age, but because of who was there. I didn’t know it would be the last time I would have photos with my dad’s parents. Back then I didn't understand the value of investing in a professional photographer with the experience of knowing what to look for in a wedding day. There aren't enough of these pictures, but the few images I have with my grandparents from our wedding have become so so precious to me.
When I’m at your wedding, I pay close attention to those sitting in your front row. To the side stories of, “Hey! I want you to meet my Young Life leader from middle school!” Not just who's there, but also who isn't. Through our pre-wedding planning, I know who is missing and how you want to honor them.
As I photograph your gorgeous love and detailed wedding style, I always turn around and capture those who have been cheering you on through the years.
By choosing me as your photographer, you can trust that I’ll capture your BIG celebration energy—along with the people you choose to share it with.
