Arlington Backyard Wedding | Summer and Dekker

Ladies and gentleman, may I present Summer and Dekker Lane! These lovebirds shared their sweet engagement with me in the most frigid of December temperatures and then their wedding in the hottest of July days. And might I say they rocked every second of those extremes!

The two were married at Summer’s Grandfather’s place, Twin Mules Ranch, in Arlington, Washington. “Backyard Wedding,” almost doesn’t do this gorgeous day justice. From the handmade hexagon arbor, to the florals, to the reception setting, it was like this venue has always existed for weddings. (And don’t think a few guests mentioned that to her grandfather!) It was intimate in that Summer and her brothers grew up at this ranch, and shared in that so many wonderful people traveled to cheer these two into marriage.

Summer looked nothing less than royal in her long sleeved, laced embroidered wedding dress. Her golden hair glowed almost as much as Dekker’s smile that never left his face the entire day. The two reserved their first look for the ceremony and Dekker’s reaction says it all.

The theme throughout the wedding ceremony and reception were plain, love Jesus and lean on your community. And that community held them up on the dance floor all night long!
