First off, I don't take myself too seriously. Our session is about you and what makes you feel good and in turn, look good! We'll get to know each other a little, break the ice to get you comfortable in front of the camera, and then it's really a lot of fun from there.

As a typical husband (I think) a family photo session is never really at the top of my list of favorite things to do. We have gotten family photos with Karisa a few times and every time she has been great to work with. The sessions have been quick, laid back, and painless. She has been great working with our 3 young kids and always gets some great shots.

Below are the starting prices for my chelan based photography packages.
Whereas I encourage you to give me a list of any must have shots for your portrait session or wedding day, I prefer not to simply replicate a list of pictures from Pinterest. Only because it limits the creative and natural flow of the session and you! Don't hesitate to bring ideas with you, but you can trust me and yourselves that we'll make beautiful pictures happen naturally.

A second shooter may be added on to any of my packages for a flat rate and is included in my most inclusive package.
I’ll have two full frame DSLR cameras. 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm lenses in my bag. I'll also have an off camera flash setup for the late evening. I’ll have back up batteries and backup SD cards.
what equipment will you bring?
Finding a “good” location for portraits feels so key, yet there are so many places that we can make work! You are definitely encouraged to have a location in mind when scheduling your session, but if you only have a setting in mind, I can help us find the right place. Settings like: Fields, beach, mountains, orchards, industrial/cityscape, river, etc. Feel free to scan my blog and portfolio for ideas!
Should I pick our location?
What is your payment schedule?
Portrait sessions require a non-refundable retainer fee of $50 and weddings $350 payable via credit card. The remaining amount is due 2 weeks before your portrait session or wedding. (Monthly payment plans can be set up by request leading up to your due date.)
Do you charge tax on top of prices?
Yes! Photos are taxed at the normal rate for products dependent on your home address regardless if you receive them digitally or physically in the State of Washington. If your primary residence is outside of Washington State, you’re exempt from Washington State sales tax. Tax will be added to your overall invoice.
Can i customize our package?
Yes! In my pricing guide you will be able to find items in the A La Carte that can be added to your session or wedding. Please fill out a contact form to receive the pricing guide!
Can we request special edits?
Each package comes with a certain amount of special edit requests. If you would like more, you can purchase that after the fact via the A La Carte.
Are the images copyright?
While I retain the copyright of the images from your wedding day, my contract gives personal print and media permissions to my clients for any non-commercial usage. If you have any concerns about privacy, please let me know.
how will we receive our images?
All images will be hand edited and delivered via your own private online gallery in full resolution and web size JPEGS. You are encouraged to download these images immediately and save then to your computer, external hard drives, and cloud. You can also add a thumb drive via the A La Carte.
Where are you located?
I live in Lake Chelan, Washington and will service anywhere within 60 miles free of travel charges. However, I have family in Anacortes, WA and if we can schedule sessions during my planned visits there will be no travel fees if the distance is within 60 miles! Email me for more information!
What are your travel fees?
After the first 60 miles I charge $0.75 per mile. You are also responsible for any other incurring fees such as taxis, hotels, flights, parking, and location fees. All of which will be documented with receipts and paid for before images are delivered. An overnight fee is charged for afternoon weddings that are more than 2.5 hours away.
