2 years ago I had the honor of being booked by a sweet couple living in the Midwest for university to shoot their Chelan Rio Vista Winery wedding in the summer or 2021. We had no idea that the in between time would be so insane! Firstly, in February 2020 my little family of four moved across the world to live in Germany for my husband’s word. Soon after the world started shutting down. Because of our move I was thankful to not have a list of disappointed clients trying to reschedule their long awaited wedding days! I crossed my fingers and said a prayer for my summer 2021 clients that they would be able to gather together and celebrate like they had always wanted!
Fast forward to summer 2021. We moved back from Germany for good, looking forward to moving into our dream house in Chelan, Washington. Kenda and Ryan were all systems go and likewise thrilled to celebrate their dream wedding also in Chelan, Washington! For everyone on the edge of their pandemic seats thinking something terrible was going happen- it didn’t! The day came and it was a beautiful Chelan wedding full of sun, clear skies, family, friends, and SO much love.
Kendra and Ryan’s Rio Vista Winery Wedding went so smoothly! The day was relaxed and clearly enjoyed by all their family and friends gathered around them. I’m so happy to be back and photographing these dreamed of moments once again. Happier days cannot be found. Congrats to the new Lians!
