Lizzie and Waylen’s Spokane Engagement

One of the sweetest things to happen as a photographer is having clients sent my way from lovely past clients. Lizzie contacted me on a sunny Friday afternoon excitedly sharing she had just got engaged that week and was leaving the next for grad school in Missouri. She was wondering if they could squeeze in an engagement session before the winter holidays. I’m not one to say no to a gorgeous couple headed towards epic marriage adventures, so by Monday night I was with them outside of Spokane enjoying a gorgeous smokey sunset.

The property that we wandered had been in Waylen’s family for years and years. It was the perfect setting for their engagement session. I hope their time apart during her first year of grad school only builds on the excitement of their 2020 July wedding!
