Emma and Owen

Free stone inn Mazama, Washington Wedding

Emma and Owen were married in the beautiful area of Mazama, Washington, on the edge of the Northern Cascade Mountain Range. This region has been a favorite destination of mine my entire life. Situated right off Highway 20, it offers the warmth and dryness of Eastern Washington alongside the dramatic landscape of the incredible mountain range as it drops into rolling hills and valleys.

Freestone Inn boasts a lake, biking trails, a lodge, and guest homes nestled within a pine-drenched forest. Every wedding there feels relaxed and enjoyable for guests—from the scenery to the bar, you’re truly at your destination. Emma and Owen had such a fun crew getting ready for their big day. The weather was sunny and gorgeous, and Emma’s personality kept everything upbeat and drama-free, no matter what came up. I love a bride and crew who keep things moving despite the inevitable little hurdles—like a broken wedding dress zipper, a change in first look location, unscheduled toasts, pesky bees in the bouquets, or heading off-site for incredible portraits.

I’m 100% your person for a wedding day with lots of moving parts that’s still one of the best days of your life. I rearranged the timeline to keep things efficient, and everything unfolded in the most relaxed way possible. I’m so thankful for clients and stories like Emma and Owen’s, and for the opportunity to spend the day capturing such a beautiful wedding.
