Spring Mazama Elopement

June 8, 2023

This intimate spring Mazama elopement was a beautiful day! The bride and groom had their closest friends and family gather in Mazama, WA at the groom’s parent’s home to witness their marriage. They had their first look as spring thunderstorms rolled through the area, but I swear their sweetness kept the worst of the rain at bay! And these two were SO SWEET. My goodness. There were tears, giggles, and overflowing joy talking about their day leading up to the big reveal. They were even rewarded with a magical rainbow appearance that took everyone’s breath away.  You could tell how much Chris and Lisa simply enjoyed being in each other’s company and sharing all of life’s funny and normal moments.  I got to know their sweet pups, Carbon and Dan, throughout the day as they surprise escaped their “grandparents” and joined us for photos (LOL), anxiously awaited mom and dad to wrap up their ceremony, and took up position under the cute dining setup for Italian delicacies to fall to the ground. The ceremony took place under the incredible natural landscape that Mazama boasts; the hills, forests, and meadows at the feet of the North Cascade’s National Park. Each guest party had their own picnic blanket and basket with snacks and toys for the little ones.  It was a joyous afternoon and I wish the newlyweds all the best in this next adventure!
